I started my company as Summit Publication Design in 2006, and for a little more than a decade, focused on page layout, technical writing, and proposal development. I rebranded in 2018 to Contentiful Strategies with a more strategic focus on content architecture — a “content mothership” 🛸 that uses my Frame+Foundation™ strategy.

Hi, I'm Donna Creason!

I'm a former software developer turned communication specialist. I work with engineers, developers, and architects to help make their “tech-talk” make sense and look good.

I don't do much coding or programming anymore, but I understand system and software development. Tech professionals look to me to clarify, organize, and beautify their often-complex information environments.

Instead of working with code, now I architect the voluminous amounts of content being produced to:

  • Document agile business and development processes.
  • Describe cloud-based SaaS/PaaS/DaaS platforms, environments, and solutions.
  • Win business by responding to private, commercial, and government proposals.
  • Translate technical jargon into plain language for broader accessibility.

That's why I start every project with a thorough review of all existing material, including your company's marketing collateral, company history, client list, and other relevant information. From this initial deep dive, I can quickly and effectively determine:

  2. What needs editing (a few nips and tucks)
  3. What needs rewriting
